    Principal's Message

Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! We are eager to begin our new year with a new campus! The classrooms have new sinks, new our boys and girls’ restroom have been upgraded and our playground has extra space for students to play!  Our instructional programs continue to reflect high expectations for all students and focuses on mastery of the standards. Our rigorous and challenging curriculum ensures that students become literate, self-directed and interactive learners.  All instructional practices are well-planned and include interactive activities appropriate to help increase students’ developmental levels and support the achievement of every student and 21st century learning. Students in grades 3-6 will continue to engage in web-based projects to be able to compete in 21st century learning. This year Lane was recognized a TOP SCHOOL in Los Angeles County! Our SBA scores continue to rise. We strive to maintain a college and career ready atmosphere.

I invite you to be part of our School Site Council, Local School Leadership Council, English Language Learner Committee and PTA. We appreciate your involvement in all aspects of student development and growth!

Students will continue to participate wearing uniforms to promote a positive school climate. The staff and I thank you in advance for supporting our uniform policy.

As the Principal of Robert Hill Lane, I continue to commit myself to work with our community and parents to ensure we continue to grow academically and thrive. Please join me every month for Coffee with the Principal.  If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or me.
